Pregnancy/Postpartum

Pregnancy

I am here to help you navigate the new emotional landscape that comes with the physiological changes of pregnancy, as well as supporting you meet your needs with self-compassion, flexibility and prioritizing yourself. Additional stressors and life challenges sometimes come up when pregnant, which can feel incredibly overwhelming. I am trained to help guide you into nervous system relaxation and apply practical coping tools that can help give you the strength to get through this life stage.

Postpartum

From working with hundreds of parents, to being a mom to two children of my own, I know how parenting can be an emotional roller coaster. Living in a society where expectations are high to “do it all,” where often parenting challenges are not discussed openly, and when resources can be thin, it is no wonder 1 in 5 moms and 1 in 10 dads experience postpartum depression or anxiety.

Being a new parent may be the biggest life change you’ve experienced yet! It can be joyful and completely overwhelming. The good news is that you can shift your experience by implementing evidence based tools that I am very happy to teach you and guide you through. It is my true pleasure to offer support and resources for other moms and dads. I have been through this too - you are certainly not alone!

Therapy for Motherless Mothers

From my own experience of being a mother without the presence of my own mother, I have direct experience navigating the grief of losing my mother - something that can resurface during pregnancy, postpartum and parenthood. Whether you are a new mom or seasoned mom who does not have their own mother on their parenting journey, I am here to compassionately guide you through your current stage of life.
